Location: Los Angeles County, Chatsworth Regional Office
Position Title: Receptionist (Office Assistant – General)
We are looking for a highly motivated and adaptable individual to join our team.
Responsibilities

Answer, screen, and redirect main line calls for the Chatsworth Regional Office
Greet visitors, determine the purpose of their visit, and direct them to the appropriate staff or conference room
Maintain sign‑in/out sheets and issuance of visitor badges for emergency purposes
Utilize Department of Toxic Substances Control’s e‑mail system to reserve, confirm, and maintain master schedules for all conference rooms in Chatsworth’s Regional Office
Provide temporary access badges to staff and vendors and ensure they are returned in a timely manner by maintaining a list of temporary access badges that have not been returned
Maintain security of the badges, checks, and keys ensuring they are secured and locked up nightly in the safe
Desirable Qualifications

Strong front desk and customer service skills
Proficiency in Microsoft office suite and Outlook scheduling
Mailroom experience
Experience in reprographics operations
Organizational skills and cross‑team collaboration
1 year of clerical experience desired
Special Requirements
