Job Overview
The California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS) is the nation’s largest public pension fund, headquartered in Sacramento. This position is located in the Operations Support Services Division (OSSD), Facilities Management Unit (FMU) and seeks an Analyst I to oversee the Parking & Rideshare (P&R) program and support the CalPERS mission and core values.
Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee the CalPERS P&R program and act as the main point of contact for assisting team members with questions, enrolling in the monthly parking program, and using alternative commuting options, including transit passes and subsidies.
Oversee and execute garage audits and other P&R-related projects and initiatives, including the CalPERS Bike Share program and Sac TMA‑50 Corridor membership.
Create and maintain various P&R procedures, policies, reports, and trackers, while providing recommendations to leadership upon request.
Provide secondary support for the administration of the Lincoln Plaza Property Management contract and other building management–related responsibilities.
Telework and Sponsorship
This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, with up to two days of remote work and three days or more onsite per week. It is not eligible for visa sponsorship; applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship. CalPERS does not participate in E‑Verify for employment authorization purposes.
Salary and Benefits
Salary ranges vary by classification: Class A ($3,861.00 – $4,839.00), Class B ($4,181.00 – $5,233.00), and Class C ($5,014.00 – $6,276.00). New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or the minimum of an alternate range when applicable.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience and education that meet the Minimum Qualifications (MQs) listed on the Classification Specification.
Transcript of degree(s) where applicable; foreign degrees must be evaluated for US equivalency.
Successful completion of any required examinations, if applicable.
