
Indirect Junior Underwriter – Fort Worth

If so, come join our ever-growing Indirect Auto Lending Program as a Junior Underwriter, offering on-the-job training for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the responsible Underwriter for all auto loans that originate at indirect dealerships. Understand and implement lending guidelines to maintain an acceptable credit risk. Ensure loans submitted through indirect comply with EECU’s lending criteria, SOPs, and State requirements. Respond to dealers in a timely manner on all loan applications and request the required contacts for approved loan requests. Work directly with dealers on any contract issues outside the original approval. Build strong dealer relationships through regular communication.
Maintain compliance with all Federal and State rules and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, the Bank Bribery Act, NCUA Privacy Regulations, Reg B, Reg Z, Service Members Civil Relief, and FCRA/FACTA. Attend initial and ongoing annual Bank Secrecy Act training.

High school degree or equivalent required; college degree or business-related education preferred
Work Schedule and Availability
Must be available Monday–Friday between 8 am–8 pm, Saturdays 9 am–7 pm
Position eligible for hybrid schedule upon completion of training (≈6 months); 3 days (Mon‑Wed‑Fri) in office per week
