RN Unit Manager
to provide hands‑on clinical leadership and oversee day‑to‑day nursing operations within our Skilled Nursing Facility. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring safe, high‑quality care, regulatory compliance, and a positive, collaborative environment for residents, families, and staff.
About the Role
The RN Unit Manager is responsible for the overall clinical leadership and daily nursing operations of an assigned unit. You’ll serve as a mentor and resource for nursing staff, a trusted liaison for residents and families, and a key partner to the interdisciplinary care team. This is an opportunity to lead with impact while upholding the highest standards of care.
What You’ll Do
Provide clinical leadership and oversight for RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
Manage daily unit operations to support quality care delivery and efficient workflows
Ensure resident care aligns with individualized care plans, physician orders, and best practices
Monitor residents for changes in condition and initiate appropriate interventions
Support admissions, discharges, and care transitions
Mentor, coach, and support nursing staff to promote professional growth and retention
Participate in staff training, competency validation, and performance management
Maintain compliance with CMS and state long‑term care regulations
Support quality improvement initiatives, audits, and survey readiness
Collaborate with physicians, providers, families, and interdisciplinary team members
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in skilled nursing or long‑term care
Previous charge nurse, supervisory, or nursing leadership experience
Key Skills & Strengths
Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking
Knowledge of long‑term care regulations and standards of practice
Ability to lead, motivate, and support diverse teams
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Comfort managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Proficiency with electronic health records and clinical documentation

Pay and Benefits
Pay range, depending on experience: $108,000.00 to $122,000.00 per year.
