JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Data Analyst Analytics & Insights, Training Solutions is responsible for delivering high-quality analytics that inform business decisions across on-demand and live training solutions. This role owns complex data analyses end to end – transforming raw data into meaningful insights through rigorous analysis, visualization, and clear communication.
The Senior Data Analyst partners closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to translate business questions into analytical approaches, develop reliable reporting and dashboards, and ensure data accuracy and integrity. This role applies advanced analytical techniques and tools to identify trends, surface actionable insights, and recommend improvements to reporting and analytical processes. Operating with a high degree of independence, the position plays a key role in enabling data‑driven decision‑making while continuously enhancing analytical methods and capabilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Designs, develops, and maintains analytical models and data frameworks to support defined business objectives.
Performs advanced statistical and exploratory analyses to identify trends, issues, and actionable insights across multiple data sources.
Cleans, normalizes and reshapes data as applicable.
Owns the preparation and delivery of high-quality internal and client‑facing reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
Ensures data accuracy and integrity through defined validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance processes.
Translates business questions into analytical approaches and clearly communicates findings to stakeholders.
Collates with cross‑functional partners, including engineering and product teams, to support analytics requirements.
Drives enhancements to reporting, visualization, and analytical processes to improve efficiency and insight quality.
Proactively identifies opportunities to streamline analytics workflows through automation and responsible use of AI‑enabled tools, improving efficiency and reducing manual effort.
Stays current on commercial analytics tools, methodologies, and best practices to enhance individual and team effectiveness.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor. These may, on occasion, be unrelated to the position described here.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science, or related quantitative discipline or the equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience to perform the job.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
Required Qualifications
3‑5 years of progressive experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics roles.
Advanced proficiency in SQL, including complex queries, joins, and data transformation.
Advanced Microsoft Excel expertise, with demonstrated experience using complex formulas (e.g., nested logic, lookup and array functions), PivotTables and Pivot Charts, Power Query for data transformation, Excel data models, and automation techniques to analyze large datasets, streamline reporting, and support business decision‑making.
Demonstrated experience ensuring data accuracy and integrity through validation and quality assurance practices.
Proven ability to translate business requirements into analytical approaches and communicate findings clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in life sciences, biopharma, or regulated industries.
Experience with data visualization and BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or QuickSight.
Working knowledge of JSON and semi‑structured data formats.
Python experience for data analysis or automation.
Experience working with Jira or similar workflow and issue‑tracking tools.

The expected base salary range for this position is $65,700 to $102,000. This salary range may vary based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, education, and geographic location.
