Seeking a qualified Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing for a contract position located in Cordova, TN. This role involves providing specialized instruction and support to students with hearing loss, helping them achieve their academic and communication goals in a school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to the needs of students with hearing impairments

Utilize specialized teaching strategies and assistive technologies to enhance student learning

Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and related service providers to support student progress

Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instruction as needed to meet educational goals

Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing or equivalent credentials

Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing in an educational setting

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs
