Job Description
Our law firm is seeking a full-time Nevada licensed Associate Attorney with an emphasis in
Business Litigation
and
Defense Litigation
to join our legal team. The ideal candidate must have 1 to 10 years’ experience, a passion for law, and a desire to excel in a dynamic legal environment. Candidates should be ready and willing to work independently and under the supervision of the Managing Partners, be able to follow directions, and handle a full case load while maintaining all deadlines.

Our clients have business interest in Nevada, nationally, and worldwide. We represent clients in all varieties of litigation and in an array of practice areas including insurance defense, commercial litigation, real estate, corporate formation and governance, and employment disputes.
Responsibilities
Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues;
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, written discovery, agreements and briefs;
Provide support in courtroom proceedings;
Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases;
Provide legal advice to clients on a wide range of legal matters;
Stay current on developments in the legal field and relevant practice areas;
Assist in case management and preparation for depositions and trials
Requirements
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Active member of the Nevada State Bar, in good standing.
1 year experience in Civil Litigation preferred
Experience with Clio, LexisNexis, Westlaw, MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and other legal research tools;
Experience in state and federal court with a strong understanding of the rules and procedures
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
