We are hiring Fabricators for a growing shop in Tolleson, AZ. This is a great opportunity for candidates with hands-on experience working with metal, reading blueprints, and operating shop equipment. This role offers steady hours with the potential to go permanent.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints
Set machine stops or guides to specified lengths
Monitor machine operations and identify defects or malfunctions
Measure workpiece dimensions for accuracy
Stack, mark, and package finished products
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED preferred
6 months to 1 year of fabrication or related experience
Ability to read blueprints and perform basic machine maintenance
Basic computer skills (Windows/ERP systems)
Strong math skills (fractions, decimals, measurements)
Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately
Experience using shop tools such as overhead crane, forklift, wrenches, and grinders preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Physical Requirements:
Lift up to 50 lbs regularly, 100+ lbs occasionally (with assistance)
Ability to stand, bend, and work in a shop environment
Certifications / PPE:
Welding hood and gear required
Must wear OSHA-approved PPE (steel-toe boots, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection)
Additional Requirements:
Must pass drug test and background check
