Caregiver – AM & PM Shifts – Part Time
Weekend availability is required. This part‑time position is available both AM and PM shifts.
Pay Range:
$18.00 – $19.00 per hour (depends on experience)
Responsibilities
Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as specified in the resident’s service plan, including eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, and continence.
Respond promptly to residents’ needs while maintaining their self‑respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
Communicate any observed or suspected change of resident’s condition to a supervisor immediately.
Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co‑workers and other departments.
Qualifications
Experience is preferred but not required; training provided for the right candidate.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
High School Diploma or GED.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
Written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
Must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests, including physical and TB tests.
Ability to comply with health and safety protocols, including vaccination, daily screening, surveillance testing, and wearing face coverings and other PPE as required by regulations.
