Legal Billing Specialist
to join their growing team. This firm has represented the Southeast’s largest companies for over 100 years and remains committed to a tight-knit, collaborative environment where you are valued as a person, not just a professional.
The Role at a Glance
Compensation:
$70,000 – $85,000 ($35–$43/hour) + Overtime opportunities.
Hybrid Flexibility:
Enjoy 3 days remote / 2 days onsite after a 90-day introductory period.
Team Structure:
Join a supportive 8-person billing team, where you will support a dedicated group of ~20 attorneys.
What You’ll Do
Manage the full-cycle billing process for an assigned group of attorneys, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Handle electronic billing submissions through systems like Serengeti, Tymetrix 360, and CounselLink.
Collaborate directly with clients and attorneys to resolve discrepancies and set up efficient invoice processing.
Research and reconcile cost data and manual expense postings.
What You’ll Need
Experience:
5+ years of accounting experience within a law firm setting.
E-Billing Expertise:
Hands-on experience with E-billing platforms is required.
Tech Stack:
Proficiency in Elite/3E or similar legal billing software is highly preferred.
Soft Skills:
A team-player mindset and the ability to maintain composure and accuracy during high-volume deadline periods.
