Compensation Analyst
Location: Greensboro, NC 27409 (Remote)
Responsibilities
Process accurate bi‑monthly payroll for active, seasonal, and international employees using Workday and Dayforce
Review and validate payroll entries, deductions, and one‑time payments; resolve payroll issues and discrepancies
Reconcile payroll accounts and deductions in SAP in partnership with Finance
Prepare and remit federal and provincial payroll payments, including WCB and health plans
Coordinate year‑end payroll activities, including T4 preparation and distribution
Support payroll, compensation, pension, and benefits inquiries from employees and HR
Administer employee benefits and pension programs, ensuring accurate deductions and remittances
Support audits, compliance requirements, and ongoing payroll process improvements
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll practices, including federal and provincial legislation and year‑end reporting (T4, Relevé 1)
Experience with pension and benefits administration and payroll accounting principles
Minimum 5 years of Canadian payroll experience; U.S. payroll knowledge is an asset
Proven ability to improve payroll processes and systems
Proficient in SAP and MS Office, especially Excel
Strong analytical, time‑management, and problem‑solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive payroll data with strict confidentiality
Self‑directed and able to work independently and in a team environment
NPI Certified Payroll Management (Canada) designation required
Benefits
Pay:
$21.40 per hour
Shift: Remote – Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Weekly paycheck
