The Role
We are seeking a seasoned
Legal Secretary
to provide comprehensive administrative and litigation support. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional who thrives in a general civil practice and can manage the workflow of multiple practice areas simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Document Production:
Draft, format, and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and corporate contracts.
Litigation Support:
Manage court filings (e-filing experience is a plus) and maintain litigation calendars/deadlines.
Financial Management:
Oversee the firm’s time-tracking and billing process using
Sage Timeslips .
File Management:
Maintain organized physical and digital files for probate, real estate transactions, and matrimonial cases.
Client Relations:
Serve as the professional "first point of contact" via telephone and in-person greetings.

Qualifications
Proven experience

Detail Oriented:
Exceptional proofreading skills and a "measure twice, cut once" approach to document production.
Reliability:
This is a full-time, in-person position requiring consistent attendance during standard business hours.
