Senior General Facilities Maintenance Technician – Walmart

We are seeking an experienced technician to maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using a combination of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling, and other craft skills. The role requires response to emergency calls, support for store associates, and completion of all required safety training.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets utilizing multiple craft skills.

Use the work order management system to receive reactive repair work orders and document activities.

Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.

Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.

Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.

Minimum Qualifications

18 years old or older.

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report.

Vocational or Technical certification and 5 years’ experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or a related trade; or 7 years’ experience in one of these trades.

1 year of experience using intermediate‑level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software.

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Ability to move up and down ladders frequently.

Comfortable working at heights frequently.

Preferred Qualifications

Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

Compensation
The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 – $40.00. Additional premiums may apply based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed.
