Job Description
Responsible for accounting tasks on a daily, weekly and monthly basis including completing reconciliation schedules, compiling reporting data and preparing journal entries. Perform ad hoc accounting analysis/projects as assigned by the supervisor and others at higher levels within the department.
Role & Responsibilities
Reconcile information from various sources to the accounting records, in a thorough and concise manner.
Complete and distribute Daily Sales Reports.
Complete month end close schedules of various balance sheet accounts.
Compiles and analyzes financial information in spreadsheets and systems for financial reporting and journal entry purposes.
Reconcile intercompany transaction.
Ability to calculate various figures and amounts, advanced spreadsheet and word processing skills.
Required qualification
Undergraduate degree in Accounting. General business experience on a short term or part time basis a plus.
Language Skills-
Ability to read and interpret documents, instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to create and write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with supervisors, as well as in a clear and concise manner in order to train subordinates.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Spreadsheet and Word Processing Skills.
