On behalf of a premier, growth-oriented legal boutique in the Piedmont Triad, we are conducting a confidential search for an experienced attorney to join their wealth preservation team. This firm has intentionally moved away from high-volume practice models in favor of a systems-driven, high-touch approach for affluent families and business owners. This is a pivotal role for a practitioner who values operational excellence and wants to escape the "billable hour grind" for a more impactful, client-centered environment.
Core Responsibilities
Strategic Plan Design: Architect customized estate plans, including complex irrevocable trusts, tax-efficient wealth transfers, and asset protection instruments.
Consultative Advocacy: Lead clients through a structured, comprehensive planning process to ensure their legacies are fully protected.
Fiduciary Representation: Navigate families through the complexities of probate administration and represent client interests in uncontested court proceedings.
Case Leadership: Analyze unique financial and familial situations to strategize effective courses of action for retirement and charitable giving.
Requirements
Licensure: Active North Carolina Bar license in good standing.
Experience: 5+ years of dedicated practice in Estate Planning and Probate. (Estate Administration expertise is a valued plus).
Technical Aptitude: Proficiency with modern estate drafting and case management platforms.
Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) required. An LL.M. in Taxation or status as a Board Certified Specialist is highly preferred and will be reflected in the compensation ceiling.
