Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Active Oregon SLP license or eligibility for licensure
CCCs preferred, but strong pediatric experience may also be considered depending on the assignment
Early childhood, preschool, and/or school‑based experience preferred
Role Overview
As a Speech‑Language Pathologist in this school‑based role, you will provide services to young children ages 3 to 5 with communication and developmental needs while partnering closely with families, educators, and other team members. You will help identify strengths and areas of concern, develop individualized goals, and deliver therapy that supports each child’s communication development and participation in daily routines and learning activities.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and provide speech‑language therapy services for children ages 3 to 5
Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and interdisciplinary team members
Help develop and implement individualized goals and service plans
Complete documentation and progress updates in a timely manner
Support development of communication, social interaction, language, articulation, and functional participation in everyday routines and classroom activities
