
IT Assistant

Position open till 04/01/2026 or filled. $21.63 an hour part time seasonal
Responsibilities
Provide level 1 & 2 support to all point-of‑sale system problems and escalates when necessary
Initiate and implement improvements to areas of responsibility
Conduct stadium walk‑throughs to ensure all systems are operational prior to and during all events
Replace defective hardware before, during and after events
Diagnose software, firmware & hardware errors and breakage
Maintain a thorough knowledge of the organization and adhere to all standards and practices
Qualifications
Minimum of an Associate degree
Experience with Active Directory
Preferred experience with POS systems, including MyVenue, SpotOn, Appetize POS, and Tapin2
Knowledge of CAT5/6 crimping and various cable configurations (making LAN cables)
Solid analytical and problem‑solving skills; proven ability to organize, manage, and complete multiple tasks efficiently and timely; strong verbal and written communication; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
Excellent communication skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft applications, including operating system and office systems
Ability to be on feet and walk long distances while working at outside concession stands in all weather; ability to kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, lift, and reach
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations, complete company‑wide safety training and any additional job‑specific safety training
Fluent communication in English
This is an event‑based position and is primarily evenings, weekends, and holidays at Ball Arena or DSGP.
