Your Impact
Pearce is hiring Experienced HVAC Technicians to service and repair commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located on cell‑tower sites. The role is fast‑paced, requires travel, and offers opportunities for learning and career growth.
This is a regional position; candidates should reside in the Mansfield, Ohio area.
Core Responsibilities
Maintain cooling systems—diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire systems.
Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment.
Perform additional maintenance or upgrades to out‑of‑season HVAC equipment.
Respond to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call‑out services.
Complete daily work reports accurately and promptly.
Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per Pearce policies and insurance requirements.
Requirements
Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required).
3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred).
Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components, including refrigeration systems.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Compliance with OSHAFCC/FAA/EPA safety standards.
Resident of the Mansfield, Ohio area.
Availability for after‑hours and weekend call‑outs on occasion.
Extensive daily travel with an independent work structure.
Occasional overnight stays; company pays all travel costs and provides per diem.
Fitness to drive to remote work sites and tolerate outdoor ambient temperatures.
Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.
Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
Compensation
Hourly rate: $27.00 – $38.00 USD (DOE).
Employees may also be eligible for performance and referral bonuses, production incentives, tool/equipment and fuel stipends, company vehicle, per diem, and other applicable compensation.
