Your Impact
We are seeking an Experienced HVAC Technician to service and repair commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located on cell‑tower sites. This fast‑paced, rewarding role is suited for self‑directed individuals ready to travel and grow within the telecom industry.
Location
Regional position. Candidates should reside in the Columbus, Ohio area.
Core Responsibilities
Maintain cooling systems—diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components.
Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment.
Perform additional maintenance or upgrades to out‑of‑season HVAC equipment.
Respond to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call‑out services.
Complete daily work reports accurately and timely.
Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the company handbook and insurance requirements.
Requirements
Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required).
3+ years of HVAC maintenance experience, preferably commercial.
Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components, including refrigeration systems, is preferred.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Must reside in the Columbus, Ohio area.
Available for after‑hours and weekend call‑outs on occasion.
Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure.
Occasional overnight stays (company pays all travel costs and provides per diem).
Will be required to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.
Compensation
Hourly rate: $27.00–$38.00 (DOE). Actual compensation depends on skill set, experience, and location.
