The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring proper coding and approvals.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies, communicating with suppliers as needed.
Generate customer invoices and credit memos, verifying pricing and terms.
Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on overdue payments, and manage collections.
Prepare and process weekly check runs, electronic payments, and manual checks.
Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable and receivable transactions.
Assist with month‑end closing activities related to accounts payable and receivable.
Recommended Qualifications
Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2-4 years of experience in accounts payable and receivable, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and accounting software.
Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail.
Ability to reconcile complex accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with ERP systems specific to manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
Familiarity with the procure‑to‑pay and order‑to‑cash cycles in a manufacturing environment
Basic understanding of cost accounting principles relevant to manufacturing
Ability to analyze and reconcile complex accounts with high transaction volumes
Experience with inventory management and its impact on AP/AR
