Salary Range:
$55,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Lead and train a team of shipping and receiving personnel.
Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts.
Coordinate with production, sales, and logistics to meet shipping deadlines.
Operate and maintain material handling equipment safely.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and company policies.
Troubleshoot and resolve shipping and receiving discrepancies.
Recommended Qualifications
Minimum 3-5 years experience in shipping/receiving within a manufacturing environment.
Proven leadership experience, including training, coaching, and supervising a team.
Proficiency in inventory management systems (e.g., ERP, WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Forklift certification and demonstrated safe operation of material handling equipment.
Strong understanding of shipping logistics, carrier management, and international shipping regulations.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with the role.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Kaizen).
Proficiency in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Forklift certification and experience operating various material handling equipment.
Ability to analyze data and generate reports to identify trends and optimize processes.
