Salary Range:
$55,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are partnering with organizations in DeWitt that are seeking Shipping & Receiving Leads. Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Lead and train a team of shipping and receiving clerks, fostering a productive work environment.
Coordinate with production, quality, and logistics to optimize material flow and meet deadlines.
Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
Operate and maintain material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
Resolve shipping and receiving discrepancies and issues in a timely manner.
Recommended Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; some college or technical training preferred.
5+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory control within a manufacturing environment.
Proven ability to lead and train a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Solid understanding of logistics, supply chain processes, and DOT regulations.
Forklift certification and experience operating various material handling equipment.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory management and transaction processing.
Forklift certification and experience operating various material handling equipment.
Demonstrated ability to train and mentor team members on shipping/receiving best practices and safety protocols.
Familiarity with international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives in a logistics setting.
