Salary Range:
$42,000 - $62,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs forms.
Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials, components, and finished goods, noting discrepancies.
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, store, and retrieve inventory.
Package and label products according to customer specifications and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry and physical counts.
Coordinate with production, quality control, and logistics teams to ensure timely material flow.
Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper securing of shipments for transport.
Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on warehouse equipment.
Recommended Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
1-3 years experience in shipping/receiving within a manufacturing environment
Proficient in using forklifts and pallet jacks, with current certification preferred
Experience with inventory management software (e.g., ERP systems) and barcode scanning
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform physical tasks
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately complete documentation
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory management.
Forklift certification with experience operating various lift types (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach).
Proficiency in using scanning equipment and warehouse management systems (WMS).
Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles and 5S methodology.
Ability to perform minor maintenance on warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, scales).
