Salary Range:
$43,000 - $63,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
Verify and record incoming shipments against purchase orders, ensuring accuracy of quantity and product.
Prepare and package outgoing products for shipment, selecting appropriate shipping methods and carriers.
Load and unload trucks manually or using material handling equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.
Maintain organized inventory of raw materials, finished goods, and shipping supplies within the warehouse.
Collaborate with production and quality control teams to prioritize and expedite urgent shipments.
Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for damage, reporting discrepancies and issues promptly.
Operate computer systems and scanners to track inventory movement and generate shipping labels and documentation.
Recommended Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
1-3 years experience in shipping/receiving within a manufacturing environment
Proficient in using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
Experience with inventory management software (e.g., ERP systems)
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory management.
Forklift certification (e.g., counterbalance, reach truck).
Proficient in using barcode scanning equipment and software.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.
Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment troubleshooting.
