Salary Range:
$46,000 - $66,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are collaborating with multiple companies in Traverse City seeking experienced Shipping & Receiving Clerks. Key Responsibilities
Accurately receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and finished goods.
Prepare, pack, and ship outgoing products according to customer specifications and shipping regulations.
Maintain organized inventory of raw materials, components, and finished goods in designated warehouse locations.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Verify accuracy of shipments against purchase orders, invoices, and packing lists.
Coordinate with production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure timely material flow.
Perform routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventory reconciliation.
Recommended Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
1-3 years experience in shipping/receiving within a manufacturing environment
Proficient in using forklifts and pallet jacks, with valid certification preferred
Experience with inventory management software (e.g., ERP systems)
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform physical tasks
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory management.
Forklift certification with experience operating various types of forklifts.
Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
Proficiency in using barcode scanners and warehouse management software (WMS).
