CDL Driver

We are seeking a CDL Driver with Dump Truck experience for a position in Pass Christian, MS. The CDL Truck Driver operates various trucks/tractors used to move equipment or other materials. Non‑exempt role; reports to a Foreman; performs a variety of routine duties within established policies.
No per diem available.
Essential Qualifications
Preferably one (1) to four (4) years of experience in specified skill
Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required
Must have Dump Truck operation experience
Pre‑employment qualification test/federal written driving test
Post offer drug/alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed acceptance of the Turner Industries Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy
Comply with company and client job site safety requirements
Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace
Functional Requirements
Read and sign off on JSA prior to starting shift; move hand and foot levers to control operating equipment; interpret hand signals to determine where materials are to be placed; inspect each load before pulling it to assure it will be safe in transit; may be required to manipulate equipment on un‑level working surfaces; perform daily inspection such as checking oil, fluids, and tire pressure; report any unsatisfactory findings to the foreman; observe speed limit posted and yield to pedestrians; maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times; perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.
Compensation
Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.

Physical Involvement
May be required to do the following: climbing ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc. above and below ground level; maintaining balance on ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc.; reaching in all directions; handling and manipulating objects and materials; coordinating the movements of eyes, hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment; lifting 30 to 50 pounds from ground level, waist level, and/or overhead; carrying objects, tools, equipment, etc.; standing/sitting; walking; pushing; pulling; bending; kneeling; crouching/squatting; seeing with or without correction; hearing with or without correction; wearing respirator and other PPE; stepstool use; work in excessive heat; work in excessive cold; work in loud environment.
