Position Overview
A Business Banking Specialist in PIKESVILLE, MD, working within the Retail Branch organization.
Location
1819 Reisterstown Rd, Pikesville, MD 21208. The position is in‑office.
Responsibilities
Acquire and expand share of wallet for Consumer and Business Banking opportunities under $2MM in sales revenue.
Lead proactive lead generation and appointments conducted inside and outside of the branch.
Deliver a differentiated client experience from acquisition through onboarding and servicing.
Manage and grow Business Banking relationships under $2MM in sales revenue, translating client information into actionable sales strategies.
Generate quality referrals to ecosystem partners and maximize business results through tools and protocols.
Develop ecosystem leadership inside and outside of the branch, collaborating with partners such as PNCWM, PNC Private Bank, Business Banking, and Mortgage.
Act as advocate for clients across product, support, operations, and other departments, identifying trends and unique client needs.
Support branch team in identifying consumer and business banking opportunities to create referrals.
Engage in lobby activities to connect with clients and position PNC products.
Apply product and procedural knowledge to solve customer problems and drive loyalty.
Manage risk through adherence to all policies and procedures, ensuring operations are efficient and accurate.
Qualifications
University/college degree or equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience.
Less than 1 year of professional experience, or completion of a formal development program.
Knowledge of banking products, customer experience, technology awareness, communication, managing priorities, and prospecting.
Ability to identify opportunities, leverage technology, and be proactive in sales.
Strong accountability, customer focus, and risk‑management skills.

Base Salary: $40,700.00 – $90,200.00.
