What You’ll Do
Conduct comprehensive resident assessments and respond to changes in health status
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
Administer medications and monitor for side effects or adverse reactions
Supervise and delegate duties to LPNs, CNAs, and staff
Communicate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Document care accurately and in compliance with all regulations
Respond promptly to emergencies and medical situations
Participate in quality assurance and compliance initiatives
Educate residents and families on care plans and treatments
Ensure adherence to infection control, safety, and HIPAA standards
Serve as a role model for professionalism and compassionate care
Qualifications
Active RN license in the state of employment
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)
Current CPR/BLS certification
At least 1 year of nursing experience (long-term care preferred)
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities
Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems
