Human Resources Generalist
Lee County Tax Collector, Fort Myers, FL, United States
Full-time
Are you the kind of person who genuinely likes people (even on Mondays)? Do you thrive when your day includes a little bit of everything — answering questions, solving puzzles, organizing chaos, and making someone’s workday better?
Perfect. We’re looking for a
dynamic, resourceful Human Resources Generalist
who’s ready to jump in and make an impact.
This isn’t a “sit quietly and process paperwork” kind of role. You’ll be in the middle of the action—supporting benefits, retirement plans, performance management, wellness initiatives, leave administration, and more. Think of it as the ultimate HR variety pack.
If you love switching gears, staying organized, and being the person others rely on, you’ll feel right at home here.
Why You’ll Love Working With Us
We believe HR is more than forms and fine print—it's about creating a workplace where people feel supported, valued, and excited to show up.
When you join our team, you’ll get to:
Make a real difference in employees’ lives (yes, really)
Own programs and projects that have visible impact
Share ideas — and watch them come to life
Work with a collaborative, supportive team that values growth, teamwork… and good coffee
This role is based on-site in Fort Myers. The starting salary is $61,500.00, with slight variation possible depending on experience. New hires typically begin at or near this starting rate, based on their qualifications and relevant background.
