Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Wire EDM Set-Up & Operator to support precision manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment to produce high-quality parts used by toolmakers and designers. Ideal candidates have strong attention to detail, experience with precision machining, and a commitment to quality.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and program Wire EDM machines for precision part production
Ensure proper machine functionality and optimal performance
Monitor EDM machining processes to maintain quality and efficiency
Measure and document part dimensions to ensure accuracy and compliance
Inspect finished products to verify specifications and tolerances
Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments
Maintain accurate production and inspection records
Follow all safety procedures and quality standards
Qualifications
Experience with Wire EDM setup and operation required
Programming experience with EDM equipment preferred
Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
Strong understanding of precision measurement tools and techniques
High attention to detail and quality control
Basic math and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
