Responsibilities
Represent clients in insurance defense cases, including personal injury, property damage, and professional liability claims.
Conduct thorough legal research to support defense strategies.
Draft, review, and negotiate pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
Conduct depositions to gather evidence.
Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to manage cases effectively.
Advise clients on legal rights and strategies.
Represent clients in court, presenting evidence and arguing cases.
Stay updated on insurance law changes and their impact on clients.
Meet case deadlines and client expectations.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
A minimum of 2 years in insurance defense litigation.
Admission to the Tennessee state bar.
Extensive deposition experience.
Strong knowledge of insurance laws and regulations.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple cases and tight deadlines.
High professional ethics and integrity.
Proven track record of favorable outcomes for clients.
Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
