Commercial HVAC Service Technician
We’re seeking a highly experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to handle advanced service, maintenance, and troubleshooting across complex systems including RTUs, chillers, and boilers. This is a senior‑level, field‑based role for someone who can work independently and serve as a technical expert on‑site.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, service, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC systems
Perform advanced troubleshooting on RTUs, chillers, boilers, and related equipment
Conduct preventative maintenance and system performance checks
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and control sequences
Ensure all work meets safety standards and industry regulations
Communicate effectively with customers, providing technical insight and solutions
Maintain accurate service documentation and reports
Serve as a mentor or technical resource for junior technicians when needed
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 10+ years of commercial/industrial HVAC service experience
Strong hands‑on experience with RTUs, chillers, and boilers
Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Solid understanding of electrical systems and HVAC controls
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics
EPA Universal Certification (preferred/expected)
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently in a field‑based environment
