X-Ray Technician PRN

We are looking for an X‑Ray Technician PRN to join CareNow.

Job Summary

Perform timely and quality radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by the attending physician.

Perform quality control checks/audits on radiologic equipment.

Perform drug screens, urinalysis and other in‑house lab tests including processing specimens for reference laboratories.

Maintain records and logs on activities including in‑house lab work, drug screens, and x‑rays sent out to other labs.

Work closely with the Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front Desk Coordinator and all clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.

Ensure occupational client’s preference card is followed and occupational procedures are adhered to.

Perform routine office functions including copying, faxing, scanning, mailing, sorting and filing of patient and clinic materials as appropriate.

Be cross‑trained for Front Desk duties to include greeting patients, checking patients in/out on computer, end‑of‑day close‑out procedures, patient interactions, lobby checks and records release.

May be required to work alternate shifts and may be required to float to other clinic locations. Assist with general patient care when needed.

Qualifications

1+ year of experience in a clinical patient setting is beneficial.

NCT – A Non‑Certified Technician license in Texas.

Must obtain a BLS Certification within 30 days of start.

Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.

NCT License issued by the Board of Medical Examiners/Texas Department of State Health Services is required.
