Job Summary
TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking an ICU RN for a 13‑week travel assignment in Charlottesville, VA. The role requires 1–2 years of recent acute‑care experience and will involve 12‑hour night shifts (48 hrs per week).
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and monitor patients in an ICU setting.
Document and provide physician‑directed care, assess and implement care plans, and delegate as appropriate.
Provide bedside care, administer medications, order and evaluate diagnostic tests.
Take lab samples, interpret reports, and adjust specialized equipment.
Ensure proper placement and functioning of catheters, leads, and tubing.
Communicate patient conditions to family members and provide education and support.
Stand, walk, lift up to 20 lbs routinely; may lift up to 50 lbs as required; handle exposure to chemicals or infectious diseases.
Qualifications
Registered Nursing (RN) license.
BLS and ACLS certification required; additional certifications may be required.
2 years of recent acute‑care or ICU experience.
Ability to work 12‑hour night shifts, 48 hrs per week.
