Responsibilities
Provide evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting.
Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians).
Bill within the respective setting following guidelines.
Understand and comply with the relevant PT board rules and regulations in the state.
Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team‑focused plan of care.
Understand and utilize adaptive equipment.
Evaluate patients, create and modify plans of care based on patient condition.
Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks.
Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
Qualifications
Minimum of 6 months of experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
State‑specific licensing and BLS certification required.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods of time.
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
