Intern (Information Technology - EPMO)

Overview
SCAG seeks a motivated student or recent graduate for a paid internship in the Enterprise Project and Portfolio Management (EPMO) team. The posting will remain open until May 11, 2026, or until 200 applications are received, whichever occurs first.

Responsibilities

Create project boards using SCAG PM tools and assist with developing new templates.

Maintain project boards with status updates, notes, and tasks for projects in flight.

Provide support and capacity for enterprise priorities and backfill for ERP priorities.

Support project delivery efforts by assisting with coordination, documentation, scheduling, and follow-up activities.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Undergraduate or graduate student currently enrolled or graduated within the past 24 months, majoring in Information Technology, Project Management, Business, Communications, or a related field.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Knowledge of basic project management principles.

Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and take initiative.

Strong attention to detail.

Strong analytical thinking skills.

Experience using Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Salary & Hours
Interns working toward or holding a Bachelor’s degree will start at $21 per hour; those working toward or holding a Master’s degree will start at $24 per hour. Interns are expected to work at least 15 hours but no more than 29 hours per week. The internship is anticipated to begin in July 2026 and conclude by June 2027, or once the intern exhausts all 750 hours, whichever comes first.
