LHH Recruitment Solutions is supporting a client of ours located in Auburn Hills, MI that is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team immediately. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering a hybrid schedule and long-term potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Process end-to-end payroll accurately and on schedule
Review payroll data for accuracy, resolving discrepancies as needed
Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Partner with HR and Finance to support payroll-related initiatives
Assist with payroll reporting and audits as required
Qualifications:
Prior payroll processing experience required
Strong knowledge of payroll procedures, taxes, and deductions
Experience working with payroll systems and Excel
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
What's Offered:
Competitive pay: $26.00-31.00/hr.
