Caregiver Position
Responsible for assisting residents with their daily living activities and other care needs, as directed by the Executive Administrator and members of the Care Operations team. We seek a self-motivated, compassionate, responsible, and energetic individual to help foster a positive and supportive environment for our residents. The ideal candidate should be flexible and able to adapt to a work environment that requires frequent shifts in direction. Caregivers should have excellent communication skills with an expectation to clearly and timely express resident changes and concerns to the Executive Administrator.
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and transferring.
Assist residents with self-administration of medications.
Engage residents with activities.
Documentation/communication of resident's activities, ADLs, and changes.
Prepare and serve meals according to the menu, with modifications for dietary needs
Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
Support individuals with dementia
Ensure resident confidentiality
Criminal background clearance (Required by State)
Caregiving: 1 year experience in Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, Home Care or other direct care experience (Preferred)
Ability to work with older adults, including willingness to work with those with behavioral challenges
Experience with dementia care and Hoyer lifts is a plus
