This contract opportunity is tailored for experienced Registered Nurses with expertise in the Operating Room (OR), Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR), and general OR settings. Collaborate with surgeons and multidisciplinary staff using the latest medical technology to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Schedule/Hours:Two 8-hour shifts and two 12-hour shifts per weekOne 12-hour weekend shift every 5–6 weeks8-hour weekend on-call about every 2 monthsFlexible scheduling with options to select preferred off shiftsTypical start times: 6:50am–3:20pm and 6:50am–7:20pm Required Qualifications:Active Registered Nurse license with specialty experience in OR, CVOR, or surgical suitesCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationDemonstrated ability to manage varying surgical cases and respond calmly in critical situationsStrong communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to best patient care practicesAdaptability and reliability for scheduled shifts, weekend rotations, and call responsibilities Key Responsibilities:Provide skilled perioperative nursing care, supporting safe and effective surgical proceduresMonitor patient condition throughout procedures, responding to changes promptlyMaintain strict adherence to safety and infection control protocolsDocument patient information accurately and collaborate in care planning with surgical and anesthesia teamsParticipate in emergency response, maintaining composure in high-pressure scenarios This is an exciting chance to impact patient care in a high-acuity surgical setting, while enjoying a flexible schedule and exposure to a variety of procedures.
