Human Resources Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, and other human resources activities.
• Attend job fairs and hiring events to recruit new staff, as required.
• Welcomes employment candidates to the organization during the interviewing process.
• Provide a tour of the facility for recruits.
• Provide ad-hoc reports to Management staff.
• Assist with employee relations concerns on an as-needed basis.
• Submit employee data reports by assembling, preparing, and analyzing data for special requests and projects.
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
• Maintain quality service by following organizational standards.
• Support all internal and external employment inquiries, requests, special projects, etc.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
Skills and Knowledge Required:
• Proven work experience as an HR Administrative Assistant or work in a similar field
• Working knowledge of HR software, such as Paylocity
• Knowledge of labor legislation, laws, and structure
• Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel
• Ability to prioritize tasks and complete assignments on a timely basis.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Must be dependable and flexible.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Intermediate Microsoft Office Software Skills
• Exceptional writing skills: punctuation, grammar, and proofreading abilities are a must.
Credentials / Academic Requirements:
BS degree in Human Resources or relevant field; required.
