Bachelors degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a dynamic education environment by supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in a school-based setting for the upcoming academic year. This contract position offers flexibility with both part-time and full-time opportunities available, depending on your preference. The role will run from late August 2026 through mid-June 2027 in alignment with the local school calendar. Key Qualifications:Possession of current credentials as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant and fulfillment of all state-specific licensure requirementsPrevious school-based experience or strong interest in working with children and adolescents in an educational environmentAbility to collaborate with licensed SLPs, teachers, and school staff to optimize student communication outcomesStrong interpersonal skills and cultural competence to interact effectively with students and families from diverse backgroundsExcellent written and verbal communication abilities Core Responsibilities:Provide speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, following individualized education plans Assist in conducting therapy sessions, recording data, and supporting students in classroom and small group settings Support the administrative management of required documentation and progress reports Participate in team meetings, parent consultations, and ongoing professional development as neededAdapt to varying caseloads and contribute positively to the needs of each unique student population
