Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with strong Operating Room expertise to provide comprehensive care in a dynamic surgical environment. This contract opportunity is designed for RNs who thrive in fast-paced settings and are dedicated to supporting patients and families through every phase of the perioperative experience. Schedule:Day shift2-8 hour call shifts every 4 weeks30-minute response time required Qualifications:Active California RN licenseCurrent CPR and NRP certificationsMinimum three years of recent RN experience, with at least two years in a specialty area (OR preferred)Completion of OR questionnaire mandatory Key Responsibilities:Deliver patient- and family-centered care with an emphasis on individualized, holistic goalsConduct thorough assessments, document data, and develop patient care plans in collaboration with families and healthcare teamsImplement and evaluate age/culturally appropriate plans, adapting interventions as neededFoster optimal patient outcomes through proactive planning and quality-focused careServe as a patient advocate, promoting participation and upholding rightsIdentify educational needs for patients and families, developing and revising individualized plansRecognize communication barriers and utilize interdisciplinary resources to ensure therapeutic relationshipsDelegate responsibilities to team members within their scope and coordinate care among ancillary staff to support patient progression and workflow This is an excellent opportunity to play a direct role in patient recovery and surgical success, while collaborating closely with colleagues across the healthcare spectrum.
