Schedule:Day shiftsTwo to eight hours of on-call shifts every four weeks30-minute response time required while on call Qualifications:Active California RN licenseCurrent CPR and NRP certificationsMinimum of three years of recent RN experienceAt least two years of recent experience in an OR specialty nursing roleCompletion of OR questionnaire required prior to assignment Key Responsibilities:Provide individualized, holistic care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare colleaguesPerform thorough assessments, document findings, and set patient-centered goalsDevelop, adjust, and implement care plans based on evolving patient needs and clinical outcomesDeliver care using the full nursing process, ensuring safety, efficacy, and complianceEngage families in care decisions, serve as an advocate, and provide education tailored to their needsRecognize socio-cultural factors, adapting care to support diverse populationsEffectively communicate and coordinate with the surgical team and ancillary staff to optimize workflow and expedite patient progressDelegate care tasks appropriately, support the growth of team members, and participate in patient care conferences for quality outcomes This is a unique chance to make a meaningful impact in surgical care while working alongside dedicated professionals.
