
Customer Service Sales Specialist (Indianapolis)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Enter and maintain quotes in our ERP and filing systems
Ensure quotes are accurate and completed in a timely manner
Use product knowledge to inform independent sales representatives of pricing, lead times and any additional information needed
Responsible for handling product inquiries, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives for customers and independent sales representatives
Provide technical product support for independent sales representatives
Use Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat to create and update documents
Provide support to other departments and individuals as needed
Other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS
Proficient in Outlook, Adobe, Excel
Experience working in a technical or industrial organization, providing customer service and inside sales support
Plumbing experience/background a plus but not required
Ability to provide excellent customer service in person and phone interactions
Strong attention to detail
Ability to problem solve
Ability to adjust priorities and multitask as needed
Work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED
Must possess experience in customer service/inside sales
Proficient in Microsoft office products
ERP software experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Office Environment
Constant sitting
Occasional walking, bending, stooping and lifting up to 25 lbs.
Will be asked to spend a minimal amount of time in the manufacturing plant
Manufacturing plant has high level of noise
Must submit to pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check
