Overview
As the HR Director at Brinton Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, you will play a vital role in planning, directing, and coordinating our fast-paced human resources department. You will be responsible for maintaining functions such as payroll, recruitment, employee relations, personnel policies, and regulatory compliance, in addition to various administrative functions. Our dynamic organization is seeking a highly skilled and empathetic professional to join our team.

Responsibilities

Develops and maintains a human resources system that meets top management information needs

Oversees the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization

Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions

Payroll administration

Keeps records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension plan, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations

Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues

Administers benefits programs such as life, health, and dental insurance, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance

Investigates accidents and prepares reports for insurance carrier

Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations

Prepares reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover

Represents organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations

Familiarity with Department of Health Surveys

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of comparable Human Resources experience

Effective organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Proficient reading, comprehension, writing, and mathematical ability

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Interest in working with senior population

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
