Our client the luxury space is looking to hire a Demand and Supply Planning Analyst to join their team!
Job Title: Demand and Supply Planning Analyst
Type: Contract (40 hours/ week)
Duration: 6 months
Location: NYC
Onsite: hybrid
Rate: $30- 35/hr
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Demand and Supply Planning Specialist to support our planning team in ensuring optimal inventory levels and smooth supply chain operations. In this role, you will assist in gathering and analyzing data, updating forecasts, and coordinating with internal departments to help balance supply and demand.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and sales input
Support the coordination of supply planning activities to ensure timely product availability
Monitor inventory levels and flag potential shortages or overstock situations
Work with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, procurement, and logistics to align supply chain plans
Maintain and update planning tools and databases (e.g., ERP, Excel, or forecasting software)
Generate regular reports on inventory, forecast accuracy, and key supply chain KPIs
Assist with root cause analysis and corrective action for supply or demand imbalances
Participate in planning meetings and support the execution of action plans
Qualifications:
Must have previous experience in supply chain or demand planning
Bachelors degree in supply chain or related field
2-4 years of professional working experience
Previous experience working with a luxury brand in the fashion or beauty space
Ability to go onsite in NYC
