Air Import Coordinator | Jersey City, NJ | Salary up to $65,000 This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end air import process, ensuring timely, compliant, and cost-effective movement of international shipments.

Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage air import shipments from origin to final delivery
Communicate with overseas agents, airlines, customs brokers, and trucking companies
Prepare and review import documentation (HAWB/MAWB, commercial invoices, packing lists, etc.)
Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs regulations and company procedures
Track shipments and provide real-time updates to customers
Arrange customs clearance and final delivery
Handle billing, invoicing, and file profitability checks
Resolve shipment issues, delays, or discrepancies efficiently
Maintain accurate records in the company’s logistics systems
Qualifications 2+ years of experience in air import freight forwarding
Strong understanding of international shipping documentation and procedures
Knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and import compliance
Experience working with airline systems and freight software (e.g., CargoWise preferred)
Excellent communication and organizational skills
