Position Details
Front Desk Clerk
Hotel Department
Reports to: Front Office Manager
Qualifications
Must be age 21 or older
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
Must qualify for a gaming license
High school diploma or GED required
Must be able to communicate in the primary language used in the workplace (English)
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to multitask
Ability to stand for long periods and have good finger dexterity
Experience working at a hotel front desk required
Must be able to work weekends, graveyard shifts, holidays, and nights
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform all arrival and departure procedures
Manage proper guest payment methods and verifying credit card data per hotel standards
Provide information about the hotel, restaurant, lounge, and casino to guests
Maintain updated records of bookings and payment requirements
Communicate all pertinent shift information to direct manager and desk staff
Maintain room status inventory
Respond to guest concerns
eeds in a timely and professional manner
Communicate with housekeeping staff to ensure guest rooms are clean and ready before pre-blocking or guest arrival
Answer the front desk phones in a timely and professional manner
Maintain a sense of discretion and confidentiality
Other duties as assigned

Important attributes of any employee of the Havasu Landing Casino, along with the official performance of duties, are personal appearance and public relations. Each employee is expected to make every effort to be well‑informed about the casino, pleasant, courteous, and cooperative, and to act in a manner to command the respect of co‑workers and all other personnel.
