
Night Auditor (Havasu Lake, CA; Lake Havasu)

Position: Night Auditor
Department: Hotel
Reports To: Front Office Manager
Qualifications
Must be age 21 or older
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
Must qualify for a gaming license
High school diploma or GED required
Must be able to communicate in the primary language used in the workplace (English)
Ability to stand for long periods and have good finger dexterity
Experience working at a hotel front desk required
Experience as a night auditor preferred
Must be able to work weekends, graveyard shifts, holidays, and nights
Duties and Responsibilities
Process guest registration, including posting of payment due
Close out of the night audit after ensuring all revenue is in balance
Perform nightly backup of server
Communicate to management and other desk staff all pertinent shift information
Perform all arrival and departure procedures
Provide information about the hotel, restaurant, lounge, and casino to guests
Excellent organizational skills with an “I can” positive attitude
Respond to guest concerns

Maintain room status inventory
Maintain and clean lobby/common areas as needed
Manage proper guest payment methods and verifying credit card data per hotel standards
Maintain updated records of bookings and payment requirements
Communicate with housekeeping staff to ensure guest rooms are clean and ready before pre-blocking or guest arrival
Answer the front desk phones in a timely and professional manner
Maintain a sense of discretion and confidentiality
Other duties as assigned

Each employee is expected to be well-informed about the casino, pleasant, courteous, and cooperative, and to act in a manner to command the respect of co-workers and all other personnel.
