We are hiring a
Host
to join our team in Uptown. This is a great opportunity for someone who is naturally welcoming, can handle multiple priorities at once, and wants to learn the ins and outs of a host position in a polished restaurant environment. It is also a strong entry point for someone looking to break into the hospitality industry and build a foundation in guest service.
What You’ll Do
Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism and create a strong first impression
Manage the flow of the front door while balancing reservations, walk ins, wait times, and guest needs
Prepare and organize the correct menus for each service period
Use OpenTable to manage reservations, answer guest questions, and support takeout coordination
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional host stand
Communicate clearly with servers, managers, and kitchen team members to support smooth service
Assist with opening and closing duties and help keep the front of house organized throughout the shift
What You’ll Bring
Strong multitasking skills and the ability to stay composed in a busy environment
A welcoming personality and a genuine hospitality mindset
Good communication skills and attention to detail
Professionalism, reliability, and a willingness to learn
Previous host or guest service experience is helpful but not required
Interest in learning the foundation of restaurant service and growing within hospitality
